Suka Chapel has degrees in nursing, business, human resources, theology and metaphysics. She is also a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistics. She has been an RN for 35 years specializing in the field of mental health in Minnesota, Washington, Colorado and North Carolina.
Suka was a national speaker and corporate trainer for 15 years, and President of Personal Growth Foundation, an educational organization that provided personal development programs to over 80,000 participants nationally.
She created and directed the highly successful Peers Optimal Health Program conducted in five centers in Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN. In that program, which is the forerunner of the present ARISE program, over six hundred participants achieved improved health and weight loss as well as emotional, mental and spiritual upliftment. Pre-existing medical conditions were decreased or eliminated.
Now, after 14 years as a nurse in the criminal justice and drug dependency field, Dr. Chapel has returned to providing this unique and highly innovative, successful approach for individuals seeking recovery from alcohol dependency.
