I have worked in Business Communications for more than 20 years and in Public Relations for almost as long. I’ve taught workshops throughout the country, helping small businesses and nonprofits with the communication and public relation needs.
Because I’ve worked most of my career in the nonprofit arena, I have developed a varied skill-set of writing abilities. In case you don’t know, one of the “benefits” (i.e., requirements) of nonprofit work is cross-training; with limited budgets and volunteer personnel, it becomes necessary to learn (and do) almost everything!
I have published articles in national magazines and local newspapers. I worked for several years as “stringer” for a local newspaper. A couple of years ago, my first novel was published…the fulfillment of a life-long dream to be a novelist.
