Lives in Chandigarh

Citizens Awareness Group- a voluntary organisation comprising dedicated and concerned citizens was established and registered under the Societies Act, 1860 , on 28th December, 1994, with a view to creating awareness about health, sanitation, environment and consumer problems and also to work for national integration by organizing public meetings, declamations contests, paper reading contests, poster painting competitions and by distribution of literature.

It is known fact that the Citizens Awareness Group has been marching ahead with speed and has never looked back. We have been able to create awareness about AIDS, Leprosy, Iodine deficiency disorder, pulse polio, blindness control, sanitation, anti-smoking and drug de-addiction etc. by different means among the residents of the City Beautiful and usher in an era of hope for the down-trodden and helpless sections of society and bring cheer and colour on grim and gloomy faces.
