POPKRAZY IS a rapidly growing mom and pop store peddling pop culture artifacts, with an emphasis on pop music from WWII to the end of the century.
Are you a student of Lester Bangs and the great rock writers? We’ve got tons of back issue zines featuring their works. Maybe you’re a fan of Glam TV queens of the 80s? Well, we’ve got plenty of TV Guides. Looking for your late uncle’s recordings with a Cajun band out of East Texas? We just might have that, too, on Swallow.
How about that obscure 60s soul label that put out a few stellar 45s? Or the out-of-print book that catalogs the history of girl groups? The comic book your sister’s stupid friend swiped from you back in 1968? The rare French edition of your favorite graphic artist? Grab it when you find it—it’s the only one!
You see, whether you’re a serious collector of flexi-discs or a pop culture academic looking for a special book, Popkrazy is there with the stuff you want.
Folks, this isn’t just a bunch of old paper and vinyl we’re selling. It’s our past. It’s who we are, and we want to share our experiences (and stuff) with you for rock bottom prices.
The guy who launched this store, site, and social network is Robert Hull, whose entire life has been steeped in and devoted to pop culture.
In the course of his career, Robert amassed a deep back catalog of pop music and related artifacts.
Now he has teamed up with his ever-loving wife Sarah, who, with her trusty scanner and a vigilant eye for details, brings these artifacts into the brilliant light of the marketplace. Together, Robert and Sarah welcome you to roam the virtual shelves of PopKrazy.
We always love hearing from you! Let us know what you’re looking for, what you collect, and who you are.
PopKrazy: the hangout for the true fans of cultural debris!
